Brent Wright to be fired because of oversleeping a game

March 30, 2009

Former Florida Gator and current Cibona Zagreb player Brent Wright will probably get fired after he missed this weekend’s away game in the Croatian League against Dubrovnik. Wright did not show up at the team bus at the scheduled time and did not travel with the team to play the league game.

A story that sounds like nothing spectacular but if you know why Brent Wright did not catch the bus, it is becoming funnier. Index.hr reports that Wright was clubbing the night before with his team mate Alan Anderson and by looking at the published pictures, you can imagine the reasons for being late. Looks like funny times over there in Zagreb.

Lets just say Brent scored more then once that night and chose to retire after having that triple-double on the picture…Must be a good life as a pro in Croatia 😉

The NBA has to award Croatia an expansion team based on the looks of the city.

Hello Guru, what enticed you to post such an article? This article was extremely interesting, especially since I was searching for thoughts on this subject last Thursday.
