HIGHLIGHTS: BELGIUM BEAT BELARUS, GERMANY STAY ALIVE

August 25, 2014

Belgium booked their place in EuroBasket 2015 with a big road win over Belarus yesterday. The comprehensives 99-73 win means they don’t need to worry about their final game of the second qualifying round on Wednesday night.

Germany needed a home win to stay alive in the battle for qualification and they got what they needed as they eventually disposed of Austria 88-69. A win over Luxembourg on Wednesday should be enough for Germany to punch their ticket.
