Thrilla in Siena: Montepaschi-Cimberio Varese Serie A semifinal game four

June 2, 2013

Game of the week last week? How about last night’s game four of the Montepaschi Siena-Cimberio Varese semifinals series in Italy’s Serie A? National powerhouse and this tournament’s no. 5 seed Siena found themselves nearly on the ropes at 10 minutes to play before slowly coming back with a 24-13 run. With 60 seconds left, it was the visiting no. 1 seed from Varese up, 75-74.

As you’d imagine, Bobby Brown and quarterfinals hero Daniel Hackett played key parts for the defending champs down the stretch … though perhaps not *quite* in the way you’d imagine.

Courtesy Basket Inside – and kudos to them for posting – here’s that how that final 60 seconds of game clock played out.

And here’s the Serie A officially-approved block of the game – a monster from Viktor Sanikidze…

Game five of the series goes to Varese on Monday night; tipoff time is 8.45pm CET (2.45pm EST).

  1. Gabe and mike WRONG AGAIN

According to Gane and mike, Jordan Farmar is “The Michael Jordan of Europe”, and he is “universally considered to be the best player in Europe”.

He is also, according to Gabe and mike, “universally called The Michael Jordan of Europe”…………………………

Now back to TRUTH AND REALITY —>

Banvit just knocked Farmar’s team, Efes, out of the Turkish League playoffs. “Michael Jordan Farmar”, “The Michael Jordan of Europe”, thus fails to win a single title this season with his team in Turkey and Europe.

In the 2012-13 season, Jordan Farmar failed to win the Turkish President’s Cup. Jordan Farmar failed to win the Turkish Cup. Jordan Farmar failed to win the Euroleague. And now Jordan Farmar has also failed to win the Turkish League.

0 for 4. Jordan Farmar had 4 shots at winning a title this season in Turkey and Europe , and he went 0 for 4.

So much for the “Michael Jordan of Europe”…………

This site’s mega trolls, Gabe and mike, are now on suicide watch, in 3…2…1…

Congrats to Efes, Jordan Farmar sure earned that $7 million a year salary. Clearly, Gabe and mike are right, because, “The Michael Jordan of Europe” would clearly not even be able to win 1 out of the 4 possible titles in a Euroleague/Turkish League season.

Oh, and of course, ANYONE here at this site that disagreed with Gabe and mike, when they said that Jordan Farmar was “Europe’s Michael Jordan”, was called “insane, a liar, and a nutcase by both Gabe and mike.”

It’s truly amazing the talent that Gabe and mike have. It’s truly amazing how they can be wrong on literally every single thing they say here for years on end.

These two have a unique gift and a special talent for always guaranteeing that whatever they say will happen, won’t happen, and that whatever they say is “true”, is actually a lie.

Lunatic rant.. Personally, I never said any of those things above. Bottom line is no one believes your BS either here or ISH, and you know it too… Even FIBA doesn’t believe you. Not even Spanoulis who said,” who doesn’t want to be in the NBA? The best players play there.”

Is Spanoulis delusional too? I guess he’s like Gabe and me. Crazy and on drugs. LOL

Like I said, genius or nut?

Absolutely not. In 2011, Kobe went to Greece and had dinner with VSpan. All you need to do is go to Google and type, “Kobe has dinner with Spanoulis”, and the entire interview and presscon is there.

Case closed. Europe’s top player admits the NBA has the best players. After all, Vpsan is not delusional.
