Playing the parlays as the NBA returns

With basketball finally about to come back, it’s time to look at some good accumulators and parlays in the early going as the NBA finally returns

We’ve got quite a wild first week back of basketball ahead and bettors needs to be smart but also show a touch of courage. There is value to be found as big teams tend to be overly favoured despite having many reasons to be far from their best in the early going. The Bucks have a great line-up but one that needs time to get up to speed. The Nuggets have that plus the issues of making major line-up adjustments. The Nets, well they’re not great but they are also missing lots of bodies. Then there are teams like the Jazz, who look great but are being under rated because of the Covid-19 related beef between Donovan Mitcheel and Rudy Gobert.

All of that leads to a lot of confusion and plenty of room for you to be bolder than normal. That’s why I like parlays in the early going. If you are new to these you need some help so my advice is to go check out how to use the bet builder. That will give you plenty of advice on how to create the perfect parlay.

Looking at the early games I’ve got a few on July 31st that I really want to package together. The key bet is the Celtics, who are +5 against the Bucks. I can’t see Milwaukee being close to where they need to be in this one so I’m skipping the handicap and going straight for the moneyline where Boston are 7/4. When you pair that with the Suns and Magic, who are both favorites against the Nets and Wizards (both of whom have major withdrawal issues), things get nice. Add on the Trail Blazers at 5/6 to beat the Grizzlies and the accumulator odds move past 8/1. That’s a huge payout put together with a few low risk bets and one smart gamble.

That’s just one way to take advantage of the sportsbooks being unsure of what is happening right now. It’s a weird market but it will settle. The value is now. You’ve got to strike when the house isn’t certain. Find your key game and look at how you build around that. For the next week, there will be plenty of opportunities to benefit from the bizarre nature of the bubble. Use your head and pick some winners.
