Varese coach rips shirt, gets suspended

November 24, 2014

Olimpia Milano recorded a 105=97 win over Varese in Legabasket but the story of the day wasn’t the scoreboard. Gianmarco Pozzecco, the coach of Varese and no stranger to theatrics, got enraged following a technical foul call against his team for a foul on former Cleveland Cavalier Samardo Samuels. Watch Pozzecco channel his inner Hulk Hogan below.

Pozzecco has been suspended for the next two league games as a result of his actions. Milano, the reigning champions, are fourth at 5-2 after that win while Varese are twelfth on 2-5.

H/T Eurohoops.
